Pure Spanish Breed
La Nebulosa Stud
Raised with passion, trained with method, ready for you.
The stars of La Nebulosa: our horses
Raised in semi-feral conditions, shaped by method. We specialize in producing balanced horses for both amateur and professional riders, featuring exceptional movement and a reliable temperament. We export worldwide (Europe, America, Asia, Oceania, and Africa).
Our purpose is to provide you with a noble and dependable companion to enjoy every day. We prioritize a willing nature, high-quality gaits, and correct biomechanics to ensure solid development and prevent future injuries.
Our youngstock grows up in semi-liberty, which provides them with strength, hardiness, and balance. Accustomed to human contact from an early age, our horses combine the resilience of the field with the confidence necessary to progress in training.
We apply a progressive training system that respects each animal’s individual pace: first building trust, followed by relaxation and rhythm, and finally developing the musculature and flexibility required for more complex exercises.
We implement a feeding system unique in Spain, which has allowed us to prevent colic for years.
What sets our stud farm apart is our commitment to barefoot horses. This is the ultimate guarantee that, beyond their training, our horses receive adequate movement, a proper environment, and a balanced diet.

- LIVE. YOUR. LIFE
From Trust to Performance: An Unbreakable Bond from the Ground Up
Habituation and Natural Horsemanship
Forging an unbreakable bond from the ground up.
Before beginning any ridden work, we build a solid foundation from the ground up. Our goal is to develop a horse with a regulated nervous system, capable of connecting with humans and understanding a shared language. Through progressive exercises, the horse learns fundamental responses—such as stopping, moving forward, yielding laterally, and performing transitions—responding to clear and refined aids.
This process develops four fundamental pillars:
1.-Emotional Regulation
2.-Connection with the rider
3.-Clear communication
4.-Proper muscular conditioning to carry a rider in a balanced and healthy manner.
Once these foundations are consolidated, the start of formal training becomes much simpler, more natural, and harmonious.
Classic Training Scale
Respecting each horse’s individual pace for a long and healthy athletic life.
We breed and sell horses that are easy to ride, reliable, and eager to progress in dressage, working equitation, or groundwork. As the head rider and breeder, I have dedicated years to perfecting the training process: patience, trust, and progression are our foundation.
Our preliminary groundwork allows us to win the horse’s trust. Consequently, when they begin work under saddle, they move with relaxation and rhythm, achieving a clear and pleasant contact. From there, through time and progressive gymnastics, the horse develops the necessary musculature and flexibility.
On this solid foundation, collection and advanced exercises arrive naturally, without force, guaranteeing a healthy partner ready to evolve with you.

Breeding System: Ethical Breeding focused on Wellness and Health from Day One
Raising in Semi-Liberty
Physical and social development in 130 hectares of nature.
Our horses are born and raised in semi-liberty, with vast spaces to explore, socialize, and develop naturally.
Constant movement throughout the day activates the postural muscles that support the body and create balance, something that cannot be replaced by training alone.
Group life also plays an essential role: foals learn by observing and interacting with other horses, developing coordination, confidence and social skills.
This natural environment produces physically and mentally stable horses, perfectly prepared to learn and evolve in their future work.
Barefoot
Our commitment to raising sound, functional, and barefoot horses.
The horse’s hoof is flexible and dynamic; applying a rigid shoe limits its natural function.
For years, shoeing was considered a “necessary evil,” but today we know that a barefoot horse—provided with constant movement, a proper environment, and correct nutrition—can develop exceptionally strong hooves and maintain long-term soundness.
That is why at La Nebulosa we offer mounted, functional and barefoot horses. This is a guarantee of quality that sets us apart as breeders.
Feeding based on the horse’s nature
Horses are designed to consume fiber for a large part of the day. Therefore, at Yeguada La Nebulosa, the basis of the diet is forage – pasture, hay, alfalfa and beet pulp. This approach favors a more stable energy release and reduces metabolic imbalances associated with starch-rich diets.
We minimize the use of concentrates and use vitamin-mineral balancers and high quality protein sources. Additionally, we prioritize key health aspects such as dental check-ups, social interaction during feeding, permanent access to water, and predictable routines.
Genetic Quality without Borders: International Experience and Trust
Prestigious Bloodlines
Breeding from the saddle: a balance between nobility and athletic ability.
Our genetic selection goes beyond accumulating names of historical herds such as Escalera, Bocado or Marín García.
As riders, our selection is based on horses that express the most valued qualities of the Pura Raza Española, both for riding and dressage: expressive, balanced and collaborative horses. We look for real versatility, with animals capable of enjoying the work and evolving with all types of riders, from children and amateurs to professionals.
Proof of this philosophy is that most of our broodmares are ridden, as were many of their ancestors. This allows us to directly evaluate their temperament, biomechanics, and natural predisposition for riding.
Our breeding lines feature influential individuals such as Jecomías CEN, Duiker, Oficial XXIX, Lancero, Ubio, Endrino, Jordan de Centurión, and Ermitaño.

Testimonials
Esther González – Spain
Amateur rider
“I bought Yacal at Yeguada La Nebulosa and I couldn’t be happier. I’m not a professional and I’ve never had a young horse before, but we understand each other very well and we are learning together. We have even compete for our first time and it makes me immensely happy to see what we are achieving.”
Alida – Denmark
Owner of Zelda
“In Scandinavia we highly value physically and mentally healthy horses. After bringing Zelda here, I have full confidence that she was bred and cared for in the best way.
When Zelda arrived in Denmark, the stable thought that we had worked hard on her handling from a young age. In reality, much of her good upbringing comes from growing up in large herds and wide open spaces.
Herd-raised horses learn a tremendous amount from their elders. Many foals that grow up in stalls develop behavioral problems that don’t even exist here.”
